"A Wonderful Weekend Home Away from Home"

Date of review: May 24, 2012

The Village Inn was absolutely wonderful! The decor throughout as well as in the rooms was just beautiful. The whole place has a cozy comfortable feeling and I felt like I was on vacation and at home at the same time. The staff was very gracious and accomodating, willing to go out of their way to make you comfortable. Everything was nice and clean and the food was amazing. I look forward to visiting again!

"Charm and Fun"

The Village Inn was highly recommended to me by friends at work, and I was not disappointed. It was a wonderful weekend get-away to meet friends and get out of the city. It started with the scenic drive up the Taconic Parkway. Driving through Lenox was like walking in the past, such history but yet they still kept up with the times. When I arrived at the Inn I felt like I was family, the warm welcome was matched by the excellent service and many answered questions about the area. The Inn is in walking distance to the many shops in town. The room had a lovely historic charm to it, very clean and I loved the antiques. Once I settled into my room, I went to Rumpy's Tavern, which is within the Inn, to see if the rest of our group arrived. We had pre-dinner drinks and found the bartender most friendly, he serves an excellent martini. We then went upstairs to Rumplestiltzkin’s for dinner. The dinner was superb and the service excellent. We were told this was one of the best restaurants in the Lenox area, if not the best. We were not disappointed. After dinner we all went back to Rumpy’s Tavern to have after dinner drinks and to our delight it was karaoke night! A good mixture of tourist and local patrons, it was a perfect ending to a perfect day. The next morning we were served a wonderful breakfast. If you are in the Lenox area this Inn is a must!

"Gem in the Berkshires"

This lovely colonial style Inn provided good nold New England atmosphere and excellent service. From the moment you walk in the door, you are greeted with a smile and an interest in making you stay a pleasant one. The rooms are very comfortable and clean, and decorated with a lovely mix of antique furniture. What a treat to find the bathroom had a whirlpool tub, a great way to unwind and/or start the day. The Inn has a great Restaurant, we had dinner and I must say that the Pork Osso Bucco was fabulous, as was the rest of the meal. Breakfast is included with the stay and I was impressed by the lovely buffet. We had a great time in the Tavern - Rumpys, definite rustic charm and a fun group of patrons (guests at the Inn as well as some local regulars). The Inn is walking distance to downtown and a variety of stores. There is parking available on sire for guests - this is a definite plus for a B&B. I would definite recommend the Inn as a great get away - I am looking forward to returning in the Fall to enjoy the change of season in this charming and welcoming B&B

"Relaxing Weekend"

My husband and I spent a lovely weekend at the Village Inn. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Our room was very spacious with rustic charm, and included both a fireplace and a whirlpool tub. The Inn is within walking distance to shopping in town, perfect for a nice walk before dinner. We spent the evening at Rumpy’s Tavern for Karaoke night. The atmosphere was very lively with a nice mix of both locals and visitors to the Inn. The breakfast included in the stay was much more than I expected. Such a nice spread of both hot and cold options including gingerbread pancakes which were delicious. I would recommend the Inn to anyone looking for a relaxing weekend.
